Website template #04 "Bob The Builder"

These website templates are designed with SBI members in mind. They have been setup with SBI proprietary include tags and files, and come with instructions on how to use them with SBI. This does not preclude using them with other webhosts. If you wish to do that, then you can easily change all SBI includes to the standard virtual include tags, for ease of use with other webhosts.

Template: Fixed width, 960px.

Most suitable for a building or construction niche. faded graph paper in the background gives this a "techy" feel. When I created this design, I wanted to use a combination of straight edges and curves. I also wanted to give the design some depth, and a 3 dimensional feel. If you want to appreciate that depth, then I recommend you download the full sized image and take a close look at it (around 220kb).

This is a unique design, blending a traditional 3 column layout with a combination of clean angular lines and flowing curves. As with the vast majoriy of my designs, I use a dark font on a light background - certainly the easiest color combination to read.

Template Features

The box, top right of the header, contains user modifiable text. So you can add whatever text you like, it is NOT part of the header image.

There is a full width rounded edge box, that you can add content and images to, as well as two 1/2 width rounded edge boxes (solid color). Great for content that you need to draw attention to.

Thoughts on this template

• one of a kind, your competitors will NOT have something similar!
• Modifiable header text is great for business name, contact details, ph number etc
• testamonials are a must for businesses, IMO. You get 5 complimentary testamonial images
• The RSS and bookmarking is at the bottom of the page. Which is a better position than the left column, IMO
• Slimline header gives more room for content above the fold
